About Us

Statement of Faith

We believe in what is referred to in most church circles as the fundamentals of the faith. These include the inspiration of the Scriptures;  the creation of the heaven and the earth by God; the Trinity of the Godhead; the virgin birth of Christ; the depravity of man; the death of Christ for our sins, his burial and resurrection for our justification; salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ; the reality of heaven, hell and the lake of fire.

This statement is not exhaustive of all that we believe, however, WE ALSO BELIEVE THAT...

...MANKIND by nature is sinful and under the condemnation of God (Romans 5:12-14).

...SALVATION is by grace through faith plus nothing. Works cannot save nor keep (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5). Salvation is not dependent on any outward act. Salvation is trusting completely in what Christ did on our behalf on Calvary (Ephesians 1:13; Romans 4:23-5:2; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

We also believe in the eternal security of the believer (Romans 8:35-39; Ephesians 1:13; 2 Timothy 1:12).

...THE BIBLE is the verbally inspired perfect words of God, and that He has preserved His words without error (Psalm 12:6-7; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21). We believe that the King James Bible is the inspired words of God perfectly preserved without error for the English speaking people. We believe that the Bible can only be understood by studying it dispensationalily and must be rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15; Ephesians 2:12-13; 3:1-12; Colossians 1:25).

...THE MYSTERY "hid in God" (Ephesians 3:5) was committed to our apostle Paul, and it is in his writings alone that we find the doctrine, position, walk and destiny of the church, the body of Christ (Romans 16:25-26; 1 Corinthians 9:17; Ephesians 3:2; Philippians 3:17, 4:9; 1 Timothy 1:11, 16; Titus 1:3).

...THE SPIRITUAL GIFTS given in the book of Acts were temporary in character, and ceased upon the completion of Jesus Christ's revelation to our apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 13:8-10).

...THE ONE BAPTISM of Ephesians 4:4-6, is a Spirit baptism, and that all believers are made members of the body of Christ by ONE DIVINE BAPTISM (1 Corinthians 12:13). We believe in the indwelling Holy Spirit (Romans 6:4), by which we are identified with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. In light of 1 Corinthians 1:17, Ephesians 4:5, and Colossians 2:12, we affirm that water baptism has no place in the body of Christ in this dispensation of grace.

...THE BODY OF CHRIST began in Mid-Acts with the apostle Paul (1 Timothy 1:16), not at Pentecost (Acts 2) which is the predominant theory in most churches today.  The vast majority have missed the substantial differences between the Pentecostal church and the Church which is the Body of Christ (Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18, 24).

...OUR CATCHING AWAY, aka the RAPTURE, is God's mechanism to deliver us from this present evil world. We believe in the Pre-Tribulational Rapture of the church (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 2; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 15:40-50). We believe that the eternal future of the church is to dwell in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3,10; 1 Corinthians 15:40-50; 2 Corinthians 5:1) and that those members of the body of Christ who are alive and remain at His coming in the clouds for the church will be CAUGHT UP to meet the Lord in the air.

...ETERNAL PUNISHMENT awaits all those who reject the free gift of salvation (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).

...DENOMINATIONS are unscriptural. Since all saved individuals are members of the body of Christ there is no need to be divided into groups that were founded by men. We have no ties to any denominations, associations or ecumenical groups.

...OUR MINISTRY as a local church is to preach the gospel of the grace of God whereby the lost will be saved, and to teach the words of God rightly divided so that the saints will be edified unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4). We believe the local church should be a place of teaching and learning.

...ALL SAVED PEOPLE ARE PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST, regardless of church affiliation. All are welcome to be a part of our fellowship. We maintain a church membership list only because of legal requirements.
